Blaze Richert is a Vancouver local mixed media artist, with a passion for helping bring film to life through the art department. With three years of freelance experience as a set decorator and property master, Blaze has taken these skills, in addition with experience in digital drafting and graphic design, and incorporated them in her career as a budding production designer. With a preference for using reused materials, Blaze incorporates sustainability into the heart of her craft, giving old materials a new life in their work. Before receiving her bachelor’s degree in Motion Picture Arts, Blaze worked as a construction labourer and painter for a number of years, providing even more experience in building sets and designing spaces.
